It is an enjoyable meal as it involves several ingredients, including different kinds of healthy vegetables and even fruits too. The food has many variations, and the newest one is cooking it through the sizzling method. But the original bulalo recipe still remains superior with its steamy soup, delicious and perfectly cooked bone marrow, and soft beef slices.

There are many places in the Philippines that have their own versions of this dish. One of the most famous cities that is known for the beef marrow stew is Tagaytay City, which is all the way from the province of Cavite. Many Filipinos even travel for hours just to eat authentic bulalo meals in Tagaytay. It also suits the weather of the place because the area is elevated, thus a colder temperature compared to lower places in the country. There is another version that also came from Southern Luzon - Batangas city. It can be said that the dish originated from Southern Luzon, but it is unknown as to where exactly.

The combination of ingredients makes the Filipino beef dish healthy. There are cabbages, potatoes, beans, corn, and even saging na saba which are all rich in nutrients. You should be careful when eating it though, because it is so delicious you will want to eat more. So be mindful of the consumption, especially when it comes to the beef and bone marrow.

Sipping the soup of bulalo on a rainy Sunday, why not? It is usually eaten together with rice, or sometimes just the soup itself is enough. The meat is very soft and falls easily from the bones, the same as the bone marrow which is usually the favorite part of the dish of most Filipinos. It smells wonderful after being cooked and must be eaten immediately before the fats or sebo appear. Bulalo Recipe will always be a part of the life of every Pinoy as the dish continues being a rainy day favorite.
