Crispy Pata Recipe - “That food has too much fat. You should avoid it.” “Do these foods have high cholesterol content?”

    crispy pata

Some people are very aware of the foods they eat, they are always conscious about their body. Foods with high cholesterol content makes them go crazy.

They actually avoid getting fat. These people are health conscious. But some says that you cannot enjoy life’s greatest pleasures if you are always thinking or stressing about things.

Pleasures like eating foods. One of the most delectable, mouthwatering, and most delicious foods in town that you should not miss is Crispy Pata.

You’ll miss half of your life if you haven’t tasted this crispy, succulent dish. But hey, isn’t it has a very high cholesterol content? Should we avoid it? Think twice, guys.

It is served usually on restaurants but Filipino families cook it at home. This crispy dish really has too much fat that is why it is not recommended to be eaten every day.

You can have a taste or a feast on this dish once a week or even once a month if you are really to avoid fats in your body.

Crispy Pata is the front leg of pork which is deep fried. The preparation of this dish will usually take time. You have to really clean the front leg before boiling it until cook but do not make it too tender for it will be harder to fry.

    How to Cook Crispy Pata

Baking soda should be added to the boiling water to hasten the softening of the meat. The use of Sprite during the softening process of the meat is also done. After boiling the meat, hang it or place it inside the refrigerator for one whole day to dry the skin of the meat.

Before you fry it, brush fish sauce and sprinkle flour on it generously. To make the skin crispier, pour water on it after deep-frying the meat.

And there you go, you have your very succulent Crispy Pata that make you crave for more. But be very careful, as we say a while ago, it is high in cholesterol content.

To lessen the fatty taste of this dish, dip it in vinegar with crashed garlic, a little salt, pepper and siling labuyo. Wow. This dish really makes me hungry. Just merely describing it makes my mouth water. Crispy Pata is a real treat for the whole family.
