Place the pork chop in a bowl or container. Marinate with soy sauce, black pepper and lime juice for at least 2 hours inside the refrigerator.
In a large pan over medium heat, add the cooking oil and wait until it is hot. Pan fry the pork chop for 3 minutes on each side.
Remove excess oil, add marinade juice and water. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender.
Season with salt and sugar. Then add the onion rings, cook for another minute. Serve immediately with hot steamed rice.
