Ingredients

  • 2 pcs pork chop
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 pc lime juice or 4-5 pcs calamansi juice
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 large onion cut into rings
  • ½ tsp sugar optional
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Place the pork chop in a bowl or container. Marinate with soy sauce, black pepper and lime juice for at least 2 hours inside the refrigerator.
  • In a large pan over medium heat, add the cooking oil and wait until it is hot. Pan fry the pork chop for 3 minutes on each side.
  • Remove excess oil, add marinade juice and water. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender.
  • Season with salt and sugar. Then add the onion rings, cook for another minute. Serve immediately with hot steamed rice.
