Ingredients

  • 12 pcs quails egg boiled and unshelled
  • 5 pcs duck egg boiled and unshelled
  • 1 tsp annatto powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¾ cup water

Dipping sauce

  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 medium onion chopped

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, prepare the batter by combining the flour, baking powder, annatto powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and water. Mix until well combined and set aside.
  • Dip each egg into the batter and deep-fry in a pan with cooking oil over medium heat. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and drain excess oil.
  • To make the dipping sauce, combine the vinegar, soy sauce and chopped onion. Serve and enjoy!
