Ingredients
12pcsquails eggboiled and unshelled
5pcsduck eggboiled and unshelled
1tspannatto powder
½tspbaking powder
½cupplain flour
1tspgarlic powder
½tspsalt
½tspground black pepper
¾cupwater
Dipping sauce
1cupvinegar
6tbspsoy sauce
1mediumonionchopped
Instructions
In a large bowl, prepare the batter by combining the flour, baking powder, annatto powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and water. Mix until well combined and set aside.
Dip each egg into the batter and deep-fry in a pan with cooking oil over medium heat. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and drain excess oil.
To make the dipping sauce, combine the vinegar, soy sauce and chopped onion. Serve and enjoy!
