Strawberry Taho is a famous delicacy in Baguio City. It's a soybean curd with strawberry sauce and pieces. With this recipe, you don't need to travel all the way to Baguio just to taste their famous treat. You can simply make it at home!

Ingredients
3cupssoy milk
1sachetgelatin powderI used ALSA Gulaman
4cupswaterfor boiling the tapioca
½cuptapioca pearl
1 ½cupstrawberrysliced
½cupbrown sugar
½cupwaterfor the syrup
Instructions
In a pot over medium heat, bring to boil the soy milk for 5-7 minutes.
Add the gelatin powder and continuously mix until the gelatin is completely dissolve. Remove from the heat and transfer to a glass container. Set for 45 minutes.
In another pot, boil the water and add the tapioca pearl. Cook for 30 minutes or until it becomes transparent. Drain the water and set aside.
To make the syrup, place a small pot over medium heat, put the sliced strawberry then add the sugar and water. Let it boil for 10 minutes until the sauce lightly thickens and the strawberry is tender. You can mash the strawberry to give more flavor.
To arrange the taho, use a plastic or transparent glass, scoop the soybean curd until the glass is half-full. Put about 2 tbsp syrup.
Add more soybean until ¾ full then put the tapioca pearls. Add more syrup with strawberry pieces on top. Enjoy!
