Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef
  • 25 g chorizo
  • 3 pcs hotdogs
  • 2 pcs hard boiled egg
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 25 g pineapple chunks
  • 4 pcs calamansi
  • 20 g pickles
  • 30 g sliced cheese
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce

Instructions

  • Marinate the beef with soy sauce, black pepper and calamansi juice for 30 minutes.
  • Put the meat in a large plate and stuff it with the hard boiled eggs, chorizo, hotdogs and pickles.
  • Roll the meat neatly.
  • Secure it with a string.
  • Pour some water in a big pot and add the tomato sauce, soy sauce, pickles, onion, pineapple and cheese.
  • Add in the prepared meat and ensure the meat is dip in the sauce, add some water if necessary.
  • Turn the heat on and set it to medium.
  • Cover and let it cook until the meat becomes tender (20 - 30 minutes)
