Casava Cake Recipe
Cassava cake is a traditional Filipino dessert which most people eat during snacks or “merienda” time
Preheat oven for 180°C.
In a bowl, combine eggs, coconut milk, condensed milk, butter and sugar.
Add the grated cassava and stir until well combined.
Grease the pan with melted butter and pour the cassava mixture.
Bake for 1 hour until firm and when the skewer comes out clean when inserted.
Prepare the toppings by combining coconut milk, condense milk and egg yolk.
Gently pour the milk and egg mixture into the baked cassava.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Put back to the oven and broil for 10 minutes.
Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
