Chicken Asado Recipe
Chicken Asado is one of the oldest authentic Filipino stew dishes in the Philippines, it is mainly sour and has a very distinct chicken flavor because of the spices added in it.

Mix the chicken with salt and pepper and set aside for 30 minutes.
Pan fry the chicken until light brown.
Melt the butter in a wok pr new pan.
Add in the onion, bay leaves, tomato sauce, soy sauce and lemon juice.
Drop the pan fried chicken and mix well to coat them.
Simmer for 2 -3 minutes add some water if desired.
Add the potatoes and simmer for another 5 - 7 minutes.
Serve.
