Ingredients
½cupall-purpose flour
½cupcornmeal
2tspbaking powder
⅛tspsalt
⅛tspground black pepper
1tbspwhite sugar
½cupmilk
1egg
5pcshotdog
2cupsvegetable oilfor frying
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk all-purpose flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and sugar.
Add milk and egg into the mixture, mix well until well combined.
Transfer the batter into a tall glass. Put the hotdog into a skewer and dip each of them in the batter.
In a pan over medium heat, add the cooking oil. Once the oil is hot enough, fry the corn dog until golden brown. Remove from the pan and drain excess oil. Serve while it's hot!
