In a large pan over medium heat, add the vegetable oil and sauté the garlic and onion until soft and translucent.
Add the canned sardines including the liquid and cook for at least 5 minutes.
Pour the water and add the misua noodles. Cook for another 2 minutes or until the noodles are soft. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve with hot rice. You may add calamansi juice to add more taste.
