Embutido is actually a Spanish word for sausage. It is a specialty of Filipinos. It is very popular in every table of Filipinos especially on holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, fiestas and even on regular days. It is actually a favorite of everyone in the country.

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground pork
  • 3 pcs hotdog
  • 2 pcs fresh eggs
  • 2 pcs hard boiled egg
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 medium grated carrots
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium onions
  • spring onion
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl except the hard boiled egg.
  • Mix well.
  • Beat the fresh eggs and add to the mixture.
  • Stir to distribute evenly.
  • Prepare an aluminum foil and put some meat mixture on it.
  • Add 2 slices of egg in the middle and cover it with meat mixture.
  • Roll the aluminum foil to cover the meat.
  • Seal both ends by folding.
  • Prepare the steamer and steam for 45 minutes up to 1 hour.
  • Slice and serve
