Sinigang na Hipon Recipe - Hipon or Shrimps are one of the mostly bought seafood in the markets. Even though it is not that budget friendly, it is still a best seller.

Shrimps come in different sizes. Small or the big ones, they are still very delicious. They are also carrying a lot of nutrients which makes it a must seafood for us.

Shrimps contain iodine, protein and other vitamins and minerals. It is a good source of Omega3 complex which is good to avoid risks of heart disease. It is considered a very healthy food for the whole family.

The price doesn’t matter anymore if it is for the benefit of our loved ones, does it? Shrimp dishes are quite famous in the Philippines because we have a great source of seafood in the country.

Sinigang na Hipon is on the top list when it comes to sinigang dishes. There are other dishes like Sinigang na Bangus and Sinigang na Baboy which are also very delectable like shrimps. In Sinigang na Hipon, choose the medium sized or big ones for cooking.

They are most luscious for me. This dish is not only delicious; it is also a healthy choice. Veggies added to the dish like camote or kangkong tops, radish, tomatoes and siling haba make it very nutritious.

Some add other veggies like eggplant to their recipe. It is really a great recipe for the whole family. The shrimps should of course be cleaned properly before cooking them. You don’t need to remove the shells though.

Fresh shrimps are the best so make sure they are still very fresh. The soup can also be served separately for your husband who love to have the soup first and also to your visitors as their appetizer.

The sour, yummy taste of the soup will make their appetite to eat and feast on your recipe.

Seafood restaurants already included Sinigang na Hipon in their menus because of its great taste and many consumers are asking for it. The succulent taste of the shrimps is undeniably the number one reason why it is very desirable.

This recipe is good for all types of occasions especially if it is for lunch or dinner. In many times, this recipe did not fail to give us the wow feeling and makes us feel contented and satisfied with its amazing taste.

Serving it hot with steamed rice will definitely make your family and your visitors ask for more.
