    Pork Tocino Recipe breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. In the Philippines, one of the most popular food for breakfast is the tocino. It is mainly a Spanish word which means cured meat. It is often reddish in color and sweet and is often paired with warm rice.

    For Filipino people, Tosilog is amongst the favorite breakfast menus. It’s fried rice with tocino and sunny-side-up egg. Aside from that, it can be enjoyed anytime of the day and can be paired with any side dishes. Some people enjoy it dipped in spicy vinegar and soy sauce.

    Pork Tocino Recipe is a popular quick and easy too cook breakfast in the Philippines, It is not common for Filipinos to buy food outside so working people buy this food and they usually cook it in the morning.

    Ingredients
      

    • ½ kg pork
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • 3 cloves garlic
    • 2 tbsp vinegar
    • ¼ cup pineapple juice
    • salt & pepper
    • artificial food color

    Instructions
     

    • Combine the pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, salt  & pepper and mix well.
    • Add the pork in the mixture.
    • You can add some food color if desired.
    • Marinate the overnight.
    • Put a cover and refrigerate.
    • Add some water in pan and drop the pork marinated pork.
    • Let it dry and add some cooking oil.
    • Serve with rice and vinegar sauce.
