It’s no surprise that it is served during special occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, or New Year. It could be eaten alone or with rice as a viand, doubling up on the carbohydrates. The Pancit Bihon Recipe can be so rich in flavor; some just cannot resist eating it with rice.

It serves to be the fastest and easiest meal to cook since ingredients are readily found in markets and groceries. Bihon or rice sticks is the main ingredient, and it is brought to a boil. Meat can include chicken, pork, or beef strips, but they are usually thrown in all together for the flavors to mix.

Vegetables such as peas, cabbages, and celery are chopped into bite-sized pieces. Onion, garlic, and soy sauce give life to the recipe, but the amount of soy sauce can be adjusted, so the saltiness won’t dominate. These ingredients are all sautéed together until the flavor of the meat, spices, and soy sauce seep into the noodles. Check out the full details to get the whole secret kick.
