Nilagang Baka Recipe - Tinola, Sinigang, Bulalo, and Nilaga are known to be brothers as they are all dishes perfect for winter and cold weather.

    nilagang baka

A long time ago, soups such as boiled beef are being tied with peasants for they do not have enough money to buy expensive meat cuts.

Soup is now a main dish for everyone regardless of social classes or economic levels. The taste of the Nilagang Baka definitely is superb during cold weather, but you can still enjoy it during summer.

The most common way to eat this dish is over the rice along with a spicy fish sauce and a slice of lime to kick the rather bland taste up a notch.

It’s healthy and nutritious as it’s highly rich in protein. It can also be a good source of potassium since it has different kinds of vegetables such as cabbage, potato, corn and green beans. So, it is surely good for your health.

It is not just to keep you warm during cold days, but it will also satisfy your stomach until the last bite.

Some cook it with the tendons including the bone marrow just like Bulalo if you haven't tried that well you should it is one of the tastiest food on earth added with a simple black pepper and salt.

Oh I can imagine eating and sipping the broth while writing this wait I will try it now and hope you get to do the same!
