But as Filipinos love experimenting and adopting foreign recipes, this treat became well-known to them in just a matter of time.

It is very easy and simple to make this recipe. Moms can make it together with their kids as their bonding activity. By preparing the few needed ingredients, you can already whip up a dessert for your Saturday dinner. You will just need bananas, chocolate, candy sprinkles, and crushed nuts. It only requires mixing and freezing which are hassle-free cooking methods.

An American man started selling these frozen goodies several years ago. They borrowed the idea from a candy shop, wherein they sold frozen bananas. Together with his wife, they added melted chocolate and nuts. Luckily, it was such a huge hit to the locals that they began coming back to their shop in no time. Bob was happy to see his fellow dessert lovers appreciate how the flavor of chocolate complemented the banana.

Filipinos embraced this treat together with many other foreign sweets. They patronize and consider it a lovable treat even if it is not yet that well-known all over the country.

Health Benefit of Frozen Banana Chocolate Pops

Bananas are rich in potassium. In fact, many dietitians and nutritionists advise their patients to eat more of this fruit if they have low potassium levels. Additionally, we get several other nutrients - like vitamin C - from this sweet fruit. Using it as a recipe for dessert is a win-win situation since it is both delicious and healthy.

You won’t be needing fancy utensils and ingredients to achieve this perfect dessert. Your family can enjoy both the health benefits and delicious taste of frozen chocolate banana pops. Once they get to taste it, I’m sure they will be asking you to make it again the next day.
