    Seafood's like shrimps are one of the healthiest food that we can give to our family. It is a very good source of different vitamins and minerals that are essential to our body’s health. It is an excellent source of protein, iodine, vitamin B12, choline and other vitamins and minerals.

    They say that it is also a food that we should avoid due of cholesterol but one good thing about shrimps is that it has an omega-3 fat content which is good for our health. Those are the reasons why we can say that shrimp dishes are a healthy food choice.

    One of the most enjoyed and loved seafood dishes is the Buttered Shrimp Recipe. It is always included in many restaurant menus because of its yummy taste. This dish is usually sauteed in butter with a lot of garlic that gives its amazing taste that never fails to wow food lovers.

    Buttered Shrimp is also very easy to prepare that several people who are always in a hurry usually make this dish their first choice when they wanted to cook for themselves or for their family because the ingredients are always available.

    Buttered Shrimp yikes it does not sound correct does it? That's what we Filipinos call it in the Philippines, it is known as Garlic Shrimp somewhere else.

    Ingredients
      

    • 250 g shrimp
    • 3 cloves garlic
    • 1 medium onion
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 50 g butter

    Instructions
     

    • Pre-heat a pan in medium fire.
    • Drop the butter and let it melt slowly.
    • Sauté the garlic and the onion.
    • Let it cook until the onion becomes soft.
    • Put the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes or until the color changes into orange.
    • Stir to cook evenly.
    • Turn the heat off and serve.
